NLRB To Issue Guidance On Specialty Healthcare, GC Says

Law360, New York (December 13, 2013, 5:12 PM EST) -- The National Labor Relations Board will issue guidance on its controversial Specialty Healthcare decision after it rules on pending cases involving challenges to worker bargaining units from Macy's Inc. and the Neiman Marcus Group Inc., general counsel Richard Griffin said Friday.

Griffin, who won Senate confirmation in October, spoke about his experiences as general counsel thus far, as well as his developing priorities, at the Cornell School of Industrial and Labor Relations in Manhattan, where he tore into what he saw as misguided criticism of the August 2011 Specialty Healthcare ruling.
