Rack Room Takes Gender-Based Tariffs Fight To High Court

Law360, Washington (December 13, 2013, 5:45 PM EST) -- Rack Room Shoes Inc. has asked the U.S. Supreme Court to hear its case challenging the federal government’s gender-based tariff rates on clothing and footwear, saying the court should consider whether “circumstantial evidence” about Congress' intent is sufficient for an equal protection challenge to proceed.
