Worker Asks High Court To Review Rift Over Davis-Bacon Act

Law360, Washington (December 13, 2013, 7:57 PM EST) -- A former Agfa Construction Inc. laborer has asked the U.S. Supreme Court to review a rift between the New York Court of Appeals and the Second Circuit over whether the Davis-Bacon Act bars third-party private contract actions brought under state law to enforce the act’s prevailing wage schedules.
