2 AUO Execs Jailed For LCD Price-Fixing Released On Bail

Law360, San Francisco (December 13, 2013, 6:35 PM EST) -- A California federal judge on Friday ordered two AU Optronics Corp. executives convicted of conspiring to fix prices on liquid crystal display panels to be released from prison on $1 million bail each, following a Ninth Circuit ruling ordering their release while an appeal of their convictions is pending.

U.S. District Court Judge Susan Illston said AUO's former President Hsuan Bin Chen and former Vice President Hui “Kuma” Hsiung could go free on bail, but ordered them to surrender their passports and not travel outside California...
