Cardsoft Sues Point-Of-Sale Cos. For Infringement

Law360, New York (March 11, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A company that produces secure payment systems for merchants and financial institutions has filed suit against a slew of competitors, alleging that they have infringed two of its patents.

CardSoft Inc., based in Mountain View, Calif., filed the suit March 6 in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. The suit seeks an injunction preventing the defendants from infringing its patents, as well as unspecified damages.
