Texas Windstorm Insurer Facing Scrutiny Over Racist Emails

Law360, Houston (December 20, 2013, 6:41 PM EST) -- A Texas lawmaker called for an investigation Thursday into Texas' windstorm insurance pool after emails surfaced in a South Texas lawsuit that suggest the denial of a predominantly Hispanic school district's hurricane damage claim was motivated by racism.
