Abbott Settles Stent Kickbacks Case For $5M

Law360, New York (January 2, 2014, 7:51 PM EST) -- Abbott Laboratories will fork over almost $5.5 million to resolve whistleblowers’ False Claims Act allegations that it showered doctors with kickbacks so they would use the company’s stent products, the U.S. Department of Justice said last week.
