Southeast Asian Cos. Dumping Steel Pipe, Commerce Says

Law360, New York (January 3, 2014, 2:55 PM EST) -- Welded steel pressure pipe from Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam has been sold at unfairly low prices in the U.S., the U.S. Department of Commerce said Tuesday in a preliminary finding.

In a preliminary determination, Commerce said imports of the pipe from the three Southeast Asian countries had been dumped at margins ranging from 7.16 percent to 167.11 percent.
