Anderson Kill Slapped With $10M Legal Malpractice Suit

Law360, Los Angeles (January 2, 2014, 9:26 PM EST) -- Anderson Kill PC was hit with a legal malpractice suit in New York court on Tuesday, in which a health care company is claiming it suffered $10 million in insurance losses due to the law firm's negligent representation in an employment insurance coverage case.

Women's Integrated Network Inc. alleges that Anderson Kill should have objected to a purportedly confidential negotiation memorandum that health insurer U.S. Specialty Insurance Co. used to avoid having to pay losses in a wrongful-termination suit launched by a former WIN employee....
