NJ Appeals Court Issues Guidance On Referendum Deadlines

Law360, New York (January 3, 2014, 4:57 PM EST) -- A New Jersey appellate panel on Monday clarified conflicting state statutes governing the deadlines for submitting municipal referendums, ruling municipalities must follow all pertinent deadlines, and invalidating a recently considered referendum for its lack of timeliness.
