GAO Sees 1st Decline In Bid Protests Since 2006

Law360, New York (January 3, 2014, 8:21 PM EST) -- The Government Accountability Office received fewer bid protests in 2013 than it received in 2012, the first time that the numbers decreased since a slight dip in 2006, according to the GAO’s annual report published Friday.

The GAO received 2,429 new cases in 2013, a 2 percent decline from the 2,475 filed in 2012.
