InterDigital, Huawei Settle 3G/4G Patent Row Before ITC

Law360, New York (January 3, 2014, 6:19 PM EST) -- InterDigital Communications Inc. and Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd. have reached a confidential settlement of their patent feud over 3G and 4G wireless devices, according to a Thursday motion to terminate the case filed with the U.S. International Trade Commission.

If approved, the move would put an end to the suit InterDigital brought last January, seeking cease-and-desist and exclusion orders that would have prevented Huawei and others from importing to the U.S. a number of smartphones, tablets and other mobile devices that allegedly infringe InterDigital's patents....
