Enbridge Puts Up $200M For Texas Wind Project

Law360, New York (January 6, 2014, 2:14 PM EST) -- Canada's Enbridge Inc. will put $200 million toward the construction of a 110-megawatt wind energy project in Texas that, once completed, is expected to provide enough energy for upwards of 45,000 homes, the company said Monday.

Construction on the Keechi Wind project, which is being constructed by Renewable Energy Systems Americas Inc. in Jack County, Texas, began in December. According to a Monday press release from Enbridge, construction on the project should be completed by the first quarter of 2015.
