Tenaska Wants $125M Award Nixed Over Arbitrator Bias

Law360, Houston (January 7, 2014, 4:35 PM EST) -- Tenaska Energy Inc. urged the Texas Supreme Court Tuesday to dump a $125 million award to Ponderosa Pine Energy LLC over the sale of a power plant, saying an arbitrator who signed off on the judgment was biased.

Deborah G. Hankinson of Hankinson LLP, which represents Tenaska, told the high court that although arbitrator Samuel A.
