Wastewater Migration Didn't Hurt Farm, Texas Justices Told

Law360, Houston (January 7, 2014, 8:59 PM EST) -- In a case being watched closely by the energy industry, a waste disposal company told the Texas Supreme Court Tuesday it should not be held to answer for deep subsurface migration of chemical-laced wastewater it injected into underground wells because a neighboring rice farm under which the liquid seeped hasn’t been harmed.
