Green Group, PG&E Settle Over Nuclear Plant

Law360, New York (March 12, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- An environmental watchdog has resolved a lawsuit challenging the legality of the California Coastal Commission's approval of new steam generators at a nuclear power plant, securing commitments to protect the central coast from damage in a long-negotiated settlement.

The Coastal Law Enforcement Action Network, in conjunction with Pacific Gas & Electric Co., announced the agreement Wednesday, which puts an end to the organization's cries for an injunction order against the generators at the Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant in San Luis Obispo County.
