Veritas Gets Microsoft Patent Invalidated

Law360 (March 13, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge ruled Tuesday that a Microsoft Corp. patent on a method for replicating data files is invalid, handing a victory to a Symantec Corp. subsidiary in its ongoing dispute with Microsoft over patents and trade secrets.
