Mechanic Lien Claims Don't Require Contract, Pa. Court Told

Law360, New York (January 8, 2014, 2:53 PM EST) -- A home improvement contractor told the Pennsylvania Supreme Court on Monday that it should affirm a recent decision finding that the state’s Home Improvement Consumer Protection Act could not bar judges from levying common law remedies for unjust enrichment in mechanic's lien cases.
