Judge OKs Seneca Foods' $148M Bid For Bankrupt Allens

Law360, New York (January 8, 2014, 3:17 PM EST) -- An Arkansas bankruptcy judge greenlighted Seneca Foods Corp.’s $148 million stalking horse bid Tuesday to nab the operating assets of frozen vegetable manufacturer Allens Inc., setting the stage for the New York-based food processor and distributor to ramp up its canned vegetable production.
