WR Grace Eyes $1.55B Package In Ch. 11 Exit

Law360, Wilmington (January 8, 2014, 9:14 PM EST) -- W.R. Grace & Co. asked a Delaware bankruptcy judge Tuesday to sign off on a $1.55 billion financing package designed to the fund the chemical and material manufacturer as it prepares to emerge from nearly 13 years under court protection.

Maryland-based W.R. Grace, which filed for bankruptcy in April 2001 in the face of more than 129,000 asbestos-related injury claims, intends to use the exit financing to pay obligations under its confirmed Chapter 11 plan and provide the reorganized company with available funds going forward....
