Calif. Utility SDG&E Gets ALJ's Nod For $1.6B Power Deal

Law360, Washington (January 8, 2014, 8:56 PM EST) -- A California administrative judge on Friday gave San Diego Gas & Electric Co. tentative approval for an estimated $1.6 billion long-term deal for power from the proposed 305-megawatt Pio Pico Energy Center over the objections of environmental and other advocacy groups, shoring up the viability of the generation project.
