Reps. Want IRS Investigator Axed Over Obama Donations

Law360, New York (January 9, 2014, 1:33 PM EST) -- Two ranking U.S. House Republicans on Wednesday called on U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder to fire the investigator pursuing the Internal Revenue Service over alleged targeting of conservative political groups, saying the woman's prior donations to President Barack Obama's campaign prove bias.

House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa, R-Calif., and Regulatory Affairs Subcommittee Chairman Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, said Barbara Bosserman, the woman spearheading the joint Department of Justice and FBI investigation, donated almost $7,000 to the Obama campaign, creating a conflict of interest....
