Greenwich Dumps Gas Station Chain's $4M Leak Claim

Law360, New York (January 9, 2014, 5:03 PM EST) -- A New York federal judge tossed gas station chain Two Farms Inc.’s suit against Greenwich Insurance Co. on Tuesday, ruling the insurer has to cover only one-fifth of Two Farms’ $5 million claim over an underground gasoline leak.

Two Farms, which owns and operates the Royal Farms chain of gas stations and convenience stores, sued Greenwich in New York federal court in January 2012 over the insurer’s refusal to pay more than a $1 million sublimit for Two Farms’ $5 million claim stemming from a leak...
