Obama To Unveil NSA Reforms Jan. 17, White House Says

Law360, Washington (January 10, 2014, 6:00 PM EST) -- President Barack Obama has completed his review of a recent expert report on the National Security Agency’s data collection efforts commissioned after recent NSA document leaks, and will announce any reforms stemming from the review on Jan. 17, the White House said Friday.

White House spokesman Jay Carney, who made the announcement, did not discuss the specifics of any proposed reforms to be revealed in Obama's speech, saying only that the president would “discuss the outcomes of the work that has been done in the review...
