Convicted Pa. Judge Liable In 'Kids For Cash' Class Action

Law360, Philadelphia (January 10, 2014, 5:06 PM EST) -- A Pennsylvania federal court ruled Thursday that a convicted state judge could not be protected by judicial immunity in a class action suit brought by a group of juveniles who allege they were sentenced to terms in private youth detention centers as part of a kickback scheme.
