Tax Code Must Adapt To Technology, Economic Panel Hears

Law360, New York (January 13, 2014, 4:42 PM EST) -- New rules to tax the digital economy must be built to adapt to unpredictable advances in technology, experts from around the world told the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development in comments made public on Monday.

Tax minds like the International Bar Association, the Swiss Bankers Association and Deloitte LLP contributed 17 submissions containing more than 100 pages of comments in response to the group’s request to learn more about how tax reforms to the digital economy could impact the way the world does business....
