Schlumberger Customer Info Sought In Permian Basin Spat

Law360, Dallas (January 13, 2014, 8:42 PM EST) -- Crescent Directional Drilling LP on Wednesday asked the Texas Supreme Court to force energy giant Schlumberger Technology Corp. to turn over financial records for its Permian Basin operations in a $30 million suit stemming from Crescent’s alleged raid of Schlumberger employees.

Schlumberger claims in a breach of contract and tortious interference suit filed in Midland County that Crescent raided a handful of its essential directional drilling employees and diverted business away from Schlumberger, leading to about $30 million in damages and lost profits, according to court...
