Wrongful Conviction Suit Against LA County Goes Ahead

Law360, New York (January 13, 2014, 6:31 PM EST) -- The U.S. Supreme Court refused Los Angeles County’s appeal of a Ninth Circuit decision, holding Monday that the county is liable for its district attorney’s office's failure to track benefits awarded to jailhouse informants testifying against criminal suspects.
