MGA Refiles Bratz Trade Secrets Case Against Mattel

Law360, Los Angeles (January 13, 2014, 3:48 PM EST) -- MGA Entertainment Inc. on Monday sued Mattel Inc. for $1 billion in California state court for allegedly stealing trade secrets relating to its Bratz line of dolls, a year after the Ninth Circuit vacated a federal jury's damages award to MGA based on a finding that Mattel was liable for misappropriating the trade secrets.
