Nev. Board OKs $100M Bond Sale For Vegas Highway Project

Law360, New York (January 14, 2014, 1:59 PM EST) -- A $400 million project to expand Interstate 15 in Las Vegas, called Project Neon, took a step closer to construction Monday after the board that oversees the state transportation agency approved a $100 million bond sale to finance the project.

The Nevada Department of Transportation's board of directors, led by Nevada Gov. Brian Sandoval, approved the sale of $100 million in revenue bonds to purchase the right-of-way to expand I-15, an NDOT spokesperson confirmed to Law360 on Tuesday. The decision now goes to the state Board...
