Work-Product Doctrine Can't Shield Pa. Senate, Court Says

Law360, Philadelphia (January 15, 2014, 2:18 PM EST) -- The Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court ruled Wednesday that the state Senate could not rely on the work-product doctrine to block information about legal services provided to employees by outside counsel from being released as part of a journalist's formal requests under the state’s Right To Know Law.
