Akin Gump, Grant Thornton Cost Developer $12M, Suit Says

Law360, New York (January 15, 2014, 9:45 PM EST) -- Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP and accounting firm Grant Thornton LLP were sued Tuesday by a Texas-based development company that claims dubious advice from its advisers not to settle dual audits by the IRS and state of New York cost the company more than $12 million in damages.
