Novartis Faces Suit Over Children's Cough Medicine

Law360, New York (March 14, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Swiss drugmaker Novartis AG has become the first target of a likely wave of lawsuits in the wake of recent safety concerns over children's cough and cold medicines, with a California mother accusing the company of marketing such products even though it knew the remedies weren't safe for young children.
