Colo. Appeals Court Upholds Tax On Development Rights

Law360, New York (January 16, 2014, 5:38 PM EST) -- A Colorado appeals court ruled Thursday that the state's property tax administrator was correct in assessing ad valorem taxes on development rights owned by a Colorado company, finding ownership of the rights was tantamount to ownership of property for taxation purposes.
