NY AG Taps Head Of New Financial Crimes Bureau

Law360, New York (January 17, 2014, 1:34 PM EST) -- New York's attorney general said Friday that senior investigative counsel Gary Fishman, who formerly supervised investigations on behalf of law firms, corporations, banks and hedge funds for  Investigative Group International, will run a new bureau tasked with prosecuting complex and large-scale financial crimes.

Fishman, who has led on several investigations on behalf of New York Attorney General Eric T. Schneiderman, including a probe into the Metropolitan Council on Jewish Poverty that has led to felony charges, will head a division called the Criminal Enforcement and Financial...
