Law Scholars Back Spider-Man Toy Maker In High Court IP Row

Law360, New York (January 17, 2014, 3:36 PM EST) -- A coalition of legal scholars on Friday backed a Spider-Man toy inventor's effort to collect royalties from Marvel Inc. under an expired patent, telling the U.S. Supreme Court that the rise of innovation and its impact on the U.S. economy calls for a reversal of the court's existing precedent.
