China Finalizes Polysilicon Duties Against US Solar Cos.

Law360, New York (January 21, 2014, 3:00 PM EST) -- China on Monday leveled finalized anti-dumping and countervailing duties against solar-grade polysilicon imported from the U.S., marking the latest development in a trade dispute between the solar sectors in the two countries.

China's Ministry of Commerce issued its final determination in duty investigations of U.S. polysilicon, after finding that the Chinese solar industry was hurt by U.S. imports that have been sold at unfairly low prices or benefited from unfair government subsidies.
