Arcapita Judge OKs Accord Ending Claims Over $515M Deal

Law360, New York (January 21, 2014, 2:20 PM EST) -- A New York bankruptcy judge on Tuesday approved the reorganization plan of an Arcapita Bank BSC subsidiary and a settlement that resolves all disputes related to a $515 million sale in 2010 of a natural gas storage company.

U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Sean H. Lane praised everyone involved in the deal, which ended various lawsuits and bankruptcy claims and requests for claim subordination among a complicated web of parties tied to the 2010 sale of a company owned by Arcapita subsidiary Falcon Gas Storage Co.
