Court Reinstates Legal Malpractice Suit

Law360 (March 17, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A Texas judge has revived a malpractice suit against Houston law firm Brown, Brown & Reynolds, finding that the firm did not provide enough evidence to justify a lower court decision to throw out the case.

In an opinion issued Thursday in Texas's Fourteenth Court of Appeals, Justice John S. Anderson found that the defendants had not successfully proven that there were no genuine issues of material fact in the plaintiff's claims against them and reversed the lower court's decision.
