NHTSA OKs Chrysler's Recall Counteroffer For Jeeps

Law360, New York (January 21, 2014, 4:27 PM EST) -- The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration announced Friday that it accepted Chrysler Group LLC's recall of 1.56 million Jeep vehicles over concerns that a rear-end collision could cause them to catch fire, even though it does not address the high-speed crashes that prompted the agency to request the recall.
