NIST Scraps Cybersecurity Framework's Privacy Appendix

Law360, New York (January 21, 2014, 5:30 PM EST) -- The National Institute of Standards and Technology has decided to drop a controversial privacy appendix from the final version of a voluntary cybersecurity framework for banks, utilities and other critical infrastructure operators that is due out next month, the agency said last week.
