VMware Shells Out $1.5B For Mobile Security Co. AirWatch

Law360, New York (January 22, 2014, 4:46 PM EST) -- California-based technology company VMware Inc. will buy Atlanta mobile security and enterprise mobility management provider AirWatch LLC for about $1.5 billion, the companies announced Wednesday, in a deal that VMware said brings together two complementary businesses.
