EU Trade Chief Says US Talks Won't Dampen Regulation

Law360, New York (January 22, 2014, 5:51 PM EST) -- Europe won't pursue a trade agreement with the U.S. that weakens environmental, food safety or financial regulations, or includes a dispute settlement system that puts legitimate regulations at the risk of frivolous legal challenges, the European Union trade chief said Wednesday.
