Xtreme Power Files For Ch. 11, Seeks Out Prospective Buyer

Law360, New York (January 23, 2014, 12:24 PM EST) -- Power management and energy storage company Xtreme Power Systems LLC said Thursday that it has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in Texas, saying it will continue operations as it shops around for a prospective buyer.

Kyle, Texas-based Xtreme Power said its core engineering, project development and operations staff will remain in place during the bankruptcy process. The company listed its estimated assets at between $10 million and $50 million and its estimated liabilities at between $50 million to $100 million, according to its bankruptcy petition....
