Fla. Atty Suspended For Falsifying Tennis Pro’s Visa Docs

Law360, Miami (January 23, 2014, 3:54 PM EST) -- The Florida Supreme Court on Thursday handed an attorney a three-month suspension for falsifying visa documents for a client trying to get a visa to play in a U.S. Tennis Association tournament.

The state's highest court said a referee's recommendation of a 10-day suspension for attorney Donnette Sonya Russell-Love was not enough given the severity of the misconduct and the harm it caused to her client, who now has to go through an expensive and burdensome waiver process to seek permission to enter the U.S....
