7th Circ. Backs TransUnion's Use Of $75M Settlement Fund

Law360, Los Angeles (January 23, 2014, 11:05 PM EST) -- TransUnion Corp. did not violate the terms of a wide-ranging $75 million settlement of allegations that it illegally peddled consumer information by using those funds to resolve claims that arose after the settlement was reached, the Seventh Circuit ruled Thursday, denying a challenge by class counsel.
