US Probes Latest Chinese Solar Panel Dumping Complaints

Law360, New York (January 24, 2014, 5:29 PM EST) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce has opened investigations into allegations that solar power products from China and Taiwan are being sold below their fair prices and harming other members of the fast-growing industry.

The anti-dumping and countervailing duty probes were officially launched Thursday, weeks after German solar products manufacturer SolarWorld AG's U.S. unit voiced its concerns, according to a statement issued by the Commerce Department.
