A&F Must Lay Bare Internal Report For Shareholders

Law360, New York (March 18, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- An Ohio federal court overseeing class action securities litigation against Abercrombie & Fitch Co. has ordered the clothing retailer to hand over information about an internal report that found the derivative claims without merit.

U.S. Magistrate Judge Terence P. Kemp of U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio ruled on Friday that A&F must provide underlying documents from the report to all derivative plaintiffs in the consolidated case, which includes four derivative and six investor actions.
