Businessmen Get Jail Time For Bribing Bronx Assemblyman

Law360, New York (January 24, 2014, 6:45 PM EST) -- Two businessmen who bribed former New York Assemblyman Eric A. Stevenson to aid their senior center business were sentenced Friday to a total of 42 months in prison between them.

U.S. District Judge William H. Pauley III sentenced Igor Tsimerman to 24 months in prison and Rostislav Belyansky to 18 months. Each man's prison term is slated to be followed by three years' probation.
