Fla. Gov. Proposes $33M Cut In Business Filing Fees

Law360, Miami (January 24, 2014, 8:34 PM EST) -- Florida Gov. Rick Scott announced Friday that he will propose a $33 million tax cut on corporate filing fees as part of his 2014-15 recommended budget, continuing his ongoing drive to reduce taxes and fees on businesses.

The reduction, which the governor said will benefit business owners who file annually with the Florida Department of State's Division of Corporations, will also streamline business entity filing fees for 1.6 million entities, he said.
